The Maretron TFTDBE-5H Focus Tube is a specialized mounting accessory designed to enhance the accuracy and range of TLM100 and TLM150 ultrasonic tank level monitors. This component is specifically engineered for use on vessels with non-displacement hulls, where movement and high speeds often cause fluid to shift. By installing this focus tube, the operational tolerance for pitch and roll is increased from 6 degrees to 15 degrees, ensuring a consistent signal even in rougher sea conditions.

A primary feature of this unit is the integrated deadband eliminator. Standard ultrasonic sensors typically have a two-inch deadband directly beneath the sensor face where they cannot accurately measure fluid. The TFTDBE-5H solves this by raising the monitor two inches above the top of the tank. This elevation allows the system to provide accurate level measurements even when the tank is filled completely to the top, effectively removing the blind spot and allowing for a true full reading.

The unit utilizes a standard 5-bolt mounting pattern, making it compatible with a wide variety of marine tanks.
